Google Quietly Releases a Really Highly Anticipated Google Maps Feature – autoevolution

Google has started the public rollout of a highly anticipated Google Maps feature after previously testing it earlier this year with a select group of users.

Beginning this week, Google Maps starts showing traffic lights in the largest American cities regardless of the device that you’re using to run the app. The feature is live on Android and iPhone, and as a result, the new icons can also be seen on Android Auto and CarPlay.There’s nothing that you need to do in order to enable traffic lights in Google Maps, as these indicators seem to be enabled by default for everyone.
